Your future responsibilities include:
- print data preparation / design & creative tasks for special customer & print projects
- technical print quality analyses in the BHS laboratory
- collaboration on development projects with a focus on colour management, inline colour measurement technology, etc.
- supporting the service department with print quality problems at customer sites
- support & training of service personnel in ICC colour profiling & colour management topics
- support during commissioning and print acceptance runs
- customer support for data creation in BHS production systems (DFE+Workflow)
- contact person for queries to the BHS customer's prepress department
Your professional and personal profile:
- state-certified print and media technician (m/f/d), preferably with several years of professional experience
- very good knowledge of common user programmes (Adobe, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Hybrid Packz)
- experience in print quality and pre-press, especially colour management
- ideally experience in digital- / inkjet & packaging printing
- high degree of independence, responsibility and quality awareness
- social skills, strong communication skills and convincing personal appearance
- willingness to travel (>30%) mainly in Europe & North America
- very good knowledge of German and English
