Specialist IT Cybersecurity - Plant IT (m/f/x)

Your future responsibilities include

  • administration and further development of firewalls: support and optimisation of our firewall infrastructures (in particular Fortinet and Cisco) to secure networks in customer plants

  • security solutions for remote support: implementation, further development and support of our Secure Plant Connect solution, which enables secure remote support in customer environments

  • innovative security products: development and introduction of new security solutions to continuously improve the security of BHS products

  • vulnerability management: conducting vulnerability analyses and security assessments, especially in the OT (Operational Technology) area

  • teamwork & collaboration: working closely with internal IT departments and product management to continuously improve security standards

  • On-call duty: participation in our Plant-IT customer on-call duty to provide support in emergencies

 

 

Your professional and personal profile

  • completed IT apprenticeship or degree in computer science, ideally with several years of professional experience in cyber security and OT (Operational Technology)

  • extensive knowledge in the configuration, administration and optimisation of firewalls; experience with Fortinet or Cisco is an advantage

  • experience in conducting security analyses and implementing protective measures in OT environments

  • high degree of initiative, ability to work in a team as well as an analytical and structured way of working

  • strong customer- and service orientation

  • good communication skills with very good knowledge of German and English
