Your future responsibilities include:

  • administration and optimisation of global firewalls: management and continuous improvement of our global firewall infrastructures (incl. firewall, cloud firewall and WAF) to ensure the security of the BHS network

  • proxy server management: configuration and monitoring of proxy servers to effectively control data traffic

  • implementation of global security strategies: responsibility for the implementation and further development of global security guidelines at BHS

  • vulnerability management: support and further development of processes and platforms to identify and rectify vulnerabilities

  • endpoint security: administration and optimisation of our global endpoint security solutions for servers and clients

  • teamwork and collaboration: close collaboration with other IT departments to ensure a holistic security strategy

  • security incidents: responding to security incidents, including analysing and investigating security breaches

 

 

Your professional an personal profile:

  • completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification in the IT field

  • several years of professional experience in the field of cyber security

  • extensive knowledge in the configuration and administration of firewalls and web application firewalls (WAF)

  • basic knowledge of proxy systems is desirable

  • practical experience in at least one of the following areas cloud security (Azure, AWS), endpoint security, vulnerability management

  • strong teamwork skills, initiative and an analytical and solution-oriented way of working

  • good communication skills with very good German and English language skills
