Your future responsibilities include:
- living close collaboration in interdisciplinary teams (machine development, product management, etc.) to understand challenges and goals and to deploy the right data for solutions
- development and implementation of models based on machine data (sensor data, image data, etc.) in the production environment of corrugated board systems worldwide
- ensuring scalability and integration of models into the existing system and process landscape to turn ideas into reality for customers
- conducting cross-disciplinary analyses and documenting, defining, and capturing functional requirements and processes for the implementation of relevant use cases within the advanced analytics application
- implementation of data science projects from conception to deployment, accompanying them from the idea, through product development, to serial support
Your professional and personal profile:
- completed degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, along with several years of professional experience (ideally in industry)
- experience in modeling and analyzing large datasets
- knowledge of machine learning, statistical analysis, and programming languages such as Python or R
- strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly
- experience in cloud environments (especially AWS)
- fluent in German and English
