Your future responsibilities include:
- Developing project schedule, budget and the scope of Work / Supply based on Customer requirements in conjunction with the respective Business Units and the Heads of the technical departments.
- Monitoring works progress according to schedule and in coordination with the Heads of the technical departments.
- Responsible for project budget through effective cost control, risk management and implementation of risk mitigation strategies
- Compilation, management and motivation of project teams throughout the project
- Reporting and presentation on regular basis to Project Management Office (PMO) and Senior Management
- Management and coordination of external development partners, suppliers and subcontractors
- Contribution of ideas and experience for the ongoing development of project management templates, instructions and the PMO regarding culture and processes
Your professional and personal profile:
- Completed engineering studies (Master- / bachelor’s degree) in a natural science field or completed further education as an electrical engineering technician.
- Several years of relevant work experience as a Software Project Manager in software engineering environment
- Good experience in developing cost calculations and setting up schedules and progress measurement
- Basic knowledge in JIRA of advantage
- Confident handling of common software development tools and technologies (e.g. Visual Studio, GIT, GitHub)
- Basic knowledge in development of embedded software in C#
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills with team player qualities
- Quick perception, exceptional analytical competence and strategic thinking - paired with hands-on mentality and pragmatic implementation skills
- Sound experience in working with cross-functional teams in an international environment, with multiple stakeholders/interest
- Very good command of spoken and written German and English
- Agile Project Management qualification (PMI or equal) of advantage but not mandatory
