Your future responsibilites include:
- leading complete projects throughout the product/service development lifecycle; from assisting with project selection through the definition and execution phases to prototyping to enable product maintenance
- development of the scope of work/deliverables based on customer requirements in cooperation with the respective business units and the heads of the specialist departments
- assembling, leading and motivating project teams throughout the project
- monitoring the progress of the work according to the schedule and in coordination with the heads of the technical departments
- responsibility for the project budget through effective cost control, risk management and implementation of remediation strategies
- regular reporting (and presentation) to the PMO and senior management
- management and coordination of external development partners, suppliers and subcontractors
- contributing ideas and experience for the further development of the PMO in terms of culture and processes
Your professional und personal profile:
- completed studies in a scientific field or - Master of Science / engineering degree
- several years of relevant professional experience as a Senior Project / Project Manager in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or in the plant and machinery business
- good experience in developing cost calculations and preparing schedules and progress measurements
- strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, team player qualities
- quick comprehension, strong analytical skills and strategic thinking - coupled with hands-on mentality and pragmatic implementation skills
- solid experience in working with cross-functional teams in an international environment with multiple stakeholders
- very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
- project management qualification (PMI or equivalent) an advantage, but not essential
