Your future responsibilities include:
- taking full ownership of central inventory management as well as monitoring stock levels using relevant KPIs (material availability, DIO, BCF, etc.)
- developing and optimizing current inventory levels as well as warehouse and inventory strategies, including procurement strategies in collaboration with our supplier partners
- assuming responsibility for smooth sales and production planning
- technical leadership in a cross-functional context
- preventing the creation of new, hard-to-sell stock (in particular slow movers) through forward-looking planning and assortment management
- proactively driving cross-functional optimization initiatives, streamlining processes and digitization projects
- improving inventory transparency based on forecasts to facilitate the exchange of best practices and synergies between business units and to enable transparent, data-driven decision-making
Your professional and personal profile:
- completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field with a focus on Supply Chain/Logistics
- several years of professional experience in inventory management or material planning in a global environment
- strong understanding of operational and planning processes, sales networks, replenishment strategies and inventory-related financial KPIs
- excellent analytical skills and strong IT affinity
- excellent knowledge of materials and markets, especially in mechanical engineering
- AI affinity and proven successful experience
- strong team player with enthusiasm for working in an international environment
- excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
