Your future responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems on AWS using python and serverless technologies like AWS Lambda and DynamoDB
- Collaborate with the product management in our headquarters in Germany to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Implement best practices for security, performance, and maintainability in cloud-based applications
- Optimize and troubleshoot backend systems for optimal performance and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, Python developments, and industry trends to incorporate new technologies into our stack
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability
Your professional and personal profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and serverless architecture
- Strong proficiency in Python and a deep understanding of serverless AWS services, including but not limited to AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync and DynamoDB
- Solid understanding of database design and optimization
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
