Your future tasks will include
- Design and development of PLC programs for industrial automation projects
- Integration of PLCs with SCADA and other Industry 4.0 applications
- Development of automation concepts, functional specifications and function diagrams
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operation.
- Testing, virtual commissioning, and validation of automation systems
- Commissioning and service support via remote, I-glasses or directly on site at the customer's premises
Your professional and personal profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
- More than 5 years experience in Siemens PLC programming (S7-300, 1500) and automation systems, alternatively experience in Beckhoff PLC programming with Twincat/Codesys
- Strong knowledge of network technology in the automation environment and industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, .) as well as IT-Communication protocols like OPC/UA, MQTT, etc.
- Experience in software testing and Git code management systems desirable
- Proficiency in programming with high-level languages is a big plus
- High degree of initiative, motivation and ability to work in a team
- Ability to work independently and complete several tasks simultaneously
- Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory. German language skills are a beneficial, but not required
- Experience in working with German companies is a plus
