This position is located at our customer's site in De Lier, Netherlands.

Your future responsibilities include:

  • responsibility for cultivating a customer-oriented culture within the maintenance team as a driven team builder and coach

  • contribution to the proper functioning of the corrugator equipment, periphery and the customer satisfaction of Stora Enso by De Jong Verpakking together with the team

  • development and control of processes, continuous weak point analysis and subsequent optimization through continuous improvements

  • direct management of approximately 12+ FTE (maintenance technicians, team leads, spare parts coordinators)

  • responsibility for staffing (24/7) and overall compliance and performance of the teams

  • preparation of reports, periodic delivery of KPI statistics and trend analyses and assurance of measurable and traceable departmental performance

  • oversight of all major planned and unplanned maintenance and repair tasks, with the aim to maximize machine uptime, minimize maintenance costs and ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner

  • monitoring of all planned and unplanned maintenance and servicing activities with the aim of maximising machine availability, minimising maintenance costs and ensuring safe work processes

  • responsibility for data quality and correct use of the iCorr® MOS (Maintenance and Operation Software)

  • close collaboration with the Maintenance Manager, Production Managers, Team Leaders, and Plant Managers of the customer Stora Enso by De Jong Verpakking to optimize maintenance and productivity procedures and improve customer profitability

  • assurance of compliance with health and safety instructions

 

 

Your professional and personal profile:

  • completed HBO or WO diploma in the direction of technical business administration or a technical field
  • several years of relevant experience in customer management or in a similar position
  • several years of management experience with a hands-on mentality
  • experience with fundamental maintenance principles (OEE, TPM, etc.)
  • experience in managing maintenance engineers and technicians, with the ability to see challenges in every obstacle
  • political sensitivity and experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • strong communication skills, accuracy, and customer orientation
  • ability to set priorities, think ahead and act solution-oriented
  • stress resistance and ability to maintain overview and structure in work processes
  • proficiency in Dutch and/or English, both verbally and in writing
  • flexible attitude and willingness to work beyond a 9-to-5 schedule
  • valid driver's license and own transportation
